Sherilyn followed her dream of becoming a cosmetologist in January of 2009. She is very passionate about education. Whether it be continuing her own, or making sure that her clients are informed about why a particular look/choice is best for them. Her attention to a thorough consultation will ensure that she can create the style you desire, or give you the best professional recommendations to meet your individual needs. Consideration for face shape, skin tone, hair texture, body proportion, height, life style, and your future hair desires, are details she never over looks when tailoring your personalized makeover. Sherilyn is an American Board Certified hair color expert, with a flare for creative and corrective color. She is the only Board Certified Colorist in Elk River. While she has had advanced training for every hair texture, she specializes in extra fine, curly, and thin hair. If you've had a bad hair experience, or are experiencing challenges due to damage, visiting Hair Guru is a must do. The Guru's goal for every client is that they leave having had a fun and relaxing experience while in her care. But most importantly, she strives to personally guide each guest into total hair happiness. :)

What some people don't know about Sherilyn is that she is a music connoisseur and a movie enthusiast. She and her family love to travel, and go to concerts. In addition, she tended bar for over a decade and has invented over a dozen drink recipes.
